As of March 16, 2009, amazon.com has a 4-for-3 promotion for the mass market edition of Atlas Shrugged. Order four copies and one is included for free. This reduces the unit price to $6.75 a copy and an order of four or more books qualifies for free shipping. All four books must be shipped to a single address. Click here. Unfortunately, the $3.98 special on Atlas Shrugged that Barnes & Noble was offering is no longer available. They currently sell the mass market version of the book for $8.99 ($8.09 for members) with free shipping on orders over $25.00, when sent to a single address. Click here. The owner of The Book Resource, a mail order bookstore, has made an offer on the Suggestions Page (suggestion #8) to sell the book for $6.75, and, for an additional $3.60, will ship the book to your recipient with a letter that you email to them.
